Flare and windmill, 1 year ago

My breakdance journey

Breakdancing is the most inspiring sport i ever experienced, even it's not considered as a sport but to my point of view, it's a lifestyle.
I started to be a powermover, tried to learn every kind of transition powermoves: flare, windmill, airflare, airchair spin. Nothing wrong with powermovers, it's just that they dont really dance compare to other style. Two years of training, flare and windmill is only stuff i got. Full of frustration with airflare, i switched gear by doing top rock, foot walk and style moves, it turned out really awesome. I experienced music flow in my body, started to felt the beats and tried to kill them :D.
After a period of time training in technique like airbaby, one handstand and airchair, my dancing level stepped into the next level. I had the ability to control my body weight effectively and i start to do powermoves more easier. Powermoves are kind of easy for me, why? Because i take it easily. Lots and lots of people practice powermoves in the wrong way, i dont have to practive everyday, i only train when i feel energetic or inspiring. If one day you wake up, you feel restlessly and it's your training day, kill it, take a day rest, do some stretchy exercise like spread your leg, breathing. And to me it's really work. Try it and leave comment below
Anyway, breakdance is not all about how many flare you can get or hand hop you can do, it's about be able to express yourself from music, so keep training but dont forget you always have music beating in you body. PEACE!!!
